WriteSpark

Privacy Policy

A plain-language overview of the data WriteSpark uses to provide paper-first writing and reading feedback.

Last updated: August 29, 2026

WriteSpark is owned and operated by Collabsuite LLC (“Collabsuite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). WriteSpark helps parents manage writing and reading practice for their children. We collect only the information needed to run the product: parent account details, child profiles, worksheet uploads, OCR transcripts, grading feedback, reading books, progress records, optional resource-email signups, limited resource conversion events, and limited subscription records.

Information We Collect

We collect parent account information, child names/grade bands, assignments, uploaded worksheet images, generated transcripts, AI feedback, scores, badges, and reading progress. If you separately choose to receive resource emails, we also collect your email address, the resource and page associated with the signup, and consent timestamps.

Payments and subscription data

Stripe, our payment processor, collects and processes payment details and related billing metadata needed to complete purchases, manage recurring subscriptions, detect fraud, and meet legal obligations. Stripe handles payment-card information under its own privacy and security practices.

WriteSpark stores limited references and status information returned by Stripe, including Stripe customer, subscription, and price identifiers, subscription status, renewal-period dates, and whether cancellation is scheduled. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

How We Use Information

We use this information to create printable worksheets, route uploads to the right child, generate feedback, show progress, support password recovery, send emails you requested, and improve product reliability.

Email Communications

If you register for WriteSpark, we use your email address to communicate with you about the product. You may also separately consent to receive emails about new free resources without creating an account. Depending on your settings, consent, and our relationship with you, we may send:

  • service emails needed to run your account, such as password resets and security notices
  • product updates about features, changes, and improvements
  • newsletters with writing practice ideas and WriteSpark news
  • marketing emails about WriteSpark and related educational offerings
  • feedback requests, surveys, and research invitations

We may use email delivery providers to send these messages on our behalf. You can opt out of newsletters, marketing, feedback requests, and most product-update emails by using the unsubscribe link in a message or contacting us through the contact page. We may still send emails that are required to provide the service, protect your account, or meet legal obligations.

Resource Measurement

When someone downloads a printable resource or submits the optional resource-email form, we record a limited conversion event containing the event type, resource, source page, and time. These event records are anonymous: for this measurement, we do not store an email address, IP address, user agent, or cross-page identifier. A consented email address is stored separately in the resource subscriber record so we can send the requested messages.

We do not use third-party page-view analytics for this measurement. The conversion event is sent directly to WriteSpark only when a resource is downloaded or the optional form is submitted; it does not follow visitors across pages.

AI Processing

Uploaded handwriting may be processed by AI and OCR providers to produce transcripts, scores, and feedback. Parents should review AI feedback before relying on it for important educational decisions.

Children's Data

WriteSpark is parent-led. Children should use it with a parent or guardian. Parents can delete scans and manage child profiles from their account.
