Privacy Policy

A plain-language overview of the data WriteSpark uses to provide paper-first writing and reading feedback.

Last updated: June 5, 2026

WriteSpark helps parents manage writing and reading practice for their children. We collect only the information needed to run the product: parent account details, child profiles, worksheet uploads, OCR transcripts, grading feedback, reading books, and progress records.

Information We Collect

We collect parent account information, child names/grade bands, assignments, uploaded worksheet images, generated transcripts, AI feedback, scores, badges, and reading progress.

How We Use Information

We use this information to create printable worksheets, route uploads to the right child, generate feedback, show progress, support password recovery, and improve product reliability.

AI Processing

Uploaded handwriting may be processed by AI and OCR providers to produce transcripts, scores, and feedback. Parents should review AI feedback before relying on it for important educational decisions.

Children's Data

WriteSpark is parent-led. Children should use it with a parent or guardian. Parents can delete scans and manage child profiles from their account.
