Terms of Service
The basic rules for using WriteSpark as a parent-led educational tool.
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Use of WriteSpark
WriteSpark is designed for parents and guardians to support children's handwriting, writing, reading responses, and KWL reflection practice.
Parent Responsibility
Parents are responsible for managing child profiles, reviewing uploaded work, and deciding how to use AI-generated feedback. AI feedback may be imperfect and should not replace a parent, teacher, or professional judgment.
Uploads and Content
Only upload work that you have permission to upload. Do not upload sensitive information that is not needed for writing or reading feedback.
Availability
We aim to keep WriteSpark reliable, but the service may change, pause, or be unavailable from time to time while we improve it.
Email Communications
When you register for WriteSpark, you agree that we may send emails to the address on your account. These may include:
- account and security messages, such as password resets and important service notices
- product updates about new features, changes, or improvements
- newsletters with writing tips, practice ideas, and WriteSpark news
- marketing messages about WriteSpark offers, programs, or related educational content
- feedback requests, surveys, and research invitations to help us improve the product
You can opt out of newsletters, marketing, feedback requests, and most product-update emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us through the contact page. Even if you opt out of these messages, we may still send emails that are necessary to operate your account, protect security, or comply with law.
